For the control law written in the transformed coordinates, we need to subtract the equilibrium value of the output when comparing to the desired value. The control laws should be

$v=-Kz+k_{\text{f}}\,(L_{\text{d}}{\color {blue}{}-L_{\text{e}}}).$
